Walk down any hair aisle and you will find products made for one end of the curl spectrum or the other. Multi-textured hair, the kind that shows up across a family or even on a single head, gets whatever is left over.
That was the problem in our own house. Wash day meant juggling products that were never quite designed for the hair in front of us, and a routine nobody looked forward to.
So we made our own. A flaxseed base, simple ingredients, and one routine that works across more than one head. Every batch is still mixed and poured by hand here in Kansas City, and we are still two people deep.
The goal has not changed since the first bottle: less stress at the sink, and curls that feel like something to be proud of.

Tested on real heads
Friends, family, and plenty of people who were strangers until they tried it. Real hair in real bathrooms, not a spec sheet.
Aiming higher on safety
We already leave out parabens, sulfates, harsh alcohols, synthetic dyes, and mineral oil. We are working toward formal certification, which will not change what is in the bottle, it will put what we already do in writing.
